Dropbox Holding Its First Developer Conference
Recently, Dropbox announced its first conference for developers, referred to as DBX. The conference will be held at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, California, on July 9. Space is limited, though, and developers need to request an invitation from the company. For now, tickets are going to cost attendees $350.00 apiece. These tickets should be in high demand, so the available spaces are going to disappear quickly.
The file-syncing cloud storage service is currently used by millions of people. Billions of files are uploaded to the service each and every week. With that in mind, Dropbox is currently working on various projects to improve itself. It recently integrated with Yahoo! Mail and acquired an e-mail application to improve its mobile platform. Dropbox is striving to bring new innovations to its customers.
Dropbox has announced a few activities and plans for its developer conference. Developers can meet each other and see other projects that are going on with the service. Likewise, the developer conference will allow individuals to see what the company itself is working on. Everything occurring at DBX is designed to improve Dropbox in countless ways.
Without a doubt, the Dropbox developer conference will be a huge event. Apple and Google have been holding similar conferences for years now with great results. Dropbox has experienced massive growth recently, and the upcoming developer conference only proves that fact. In the end, limited space is available, so developers need to request their spot as soon as possible. Not everyone will receive a coveted invitation from Dropbox, though.
