A Recap Of The Affiliate Summit East 2013 FeedFront Magazine, Issue 23 (Photo credit: affiliatesummit) A Recap Of The Affiliate Summit East 2013 The Affiliate Summit East 2013 took place in Philadelphia from August 18th to the 20th. It all went down at the Pennsylvania Convection Center in Philadelphia which was a great spot even though we were hoping for New York again this year. The conference lasted over three days and there were dozens of activities that took place each day. There were education sessions which majored in the latest trends in affiliate marketing, I tried to attend at least one each session of the day. Many people attended including merchants, affiliates and vendors. Nice to see some friends that I haven’t seen since Vegas. This conference had the highest number of attendants for the East show to date, which was approximately four thousand. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) Networking At Affiliate Summit West It may be 2013, but it seems as though nothing much has really changed. Obama is still the President, and in Las Vegas, the hotels and convention centers are still full of those attending various events, seminars and conferences. One of the most well known of the affiliate marketing conferences is Affiliate Summit, founded by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward in 2003. This year's conference is at Caesar's Palace and around 5,000 people are expected to attend and learn about such subjects as generating leads, tracking performance, SEO techniques, social marketing and effective networking.
