Please Your Customers, EZINE And Google With These Article Writing Tips!

If you write and submit articles to Ezine, you must know by now how hard it is to have your article approved if you are promoting a product or a service. As you might know, your article goes through a series of checks and reviews before it gets published. If you want to know how to get your article published, then read on.

Creating great articles is one of the keys to a successful online business. If the readers like your article, they will go to the resource box, then to your landing page, and eventually buy your goods or services.  But wait! Let’s back up a bit. How can you funnel a sale if you can’t even publish your article? You should do the following:


  • Think about the product you are selling. Figure out who needs this the most or who most likely buys the product. Pretend that you are talking to this person right now. That is how you are going to write your article.

  • Think about your keyword. Figure out what the person has in mind when they type this keyword in the search engines (or in Google). The person already knows what to buy and is ready to buy the product. But if you write about how to pick this particular product, the reader will not click on your article. So be specific as people online have very short attention spans. Directly target what they want so they will read until the end of your article.

  • Remember your goal. Your goal is to make the readers click on your article, click the link in your resource box, get to your landing page, and to the selling site.

  • Aside from your readers, you should also make Google and Ezine happy. Your keyword should be relevant to your article to make Google happy. As for Ezine, you should follow their rules and never make your article too promotional. It is important that your article is not duplicate content. Otherwise, it will not be published. To make the readers like your article, you have to get them interested first by using catchy phrases in the title.

  • Your title must have your keyword in it. If possible, position your keyword at the beginning of your title.

  • Write what you are going to give the readers on the first paragraph. Describe your product in the body of the article. In the resource box, point the readers to your landing page or where they can get the product.

  • Go to your product’s page so you can get enough information or details about your product. The reviews are helpful as well.

  • In the first paragraph of your article body, write something that will spark the interest of your readers. Put something that will make them want to read the rest of your article.

  • Do not put too much of your keyword in the article.

  • Bold some phrases or use bullets to make reading easier for your potential customers.

  • Don’t forget to put your landing page link in your resource box. Encourage readers to read more about the product by going to the landing page.

  • Ezine does not publish articles that they think is promoting a product. So be clever about how you are going to showcase your product.

  • Create different concepts about your product so Ezine will not complain about repetitive content.

Just keep your goal in mind. The goal is to rank high in Google so that people can click on your article, get to your resource box and landing page, and finally make you a sale.
