Facebook Posts Get A Lot of Exposure

Each time you post to Facebook you might think that no one sees it because no one liked it and no one made any comments. But according to a recent study done by Facebook on its own data, a full third of the users that follow you see each posts that you make. That is a really good number of friends that have seen your posts.

If you’re like me, you don’t log into Facebook more than once a week and you only look at the top 20 posts that one time you login. But maybe I am the exception and many users do login everyday and read all the posts that have made it to their wall. The study took a look at 220,000 users during the month of June last year. And the actual number was 61% of your friends skimmed your posts after you made it.

Like you, most users who were surveyed for the study felt that only a few friends actually saw their posts. With a couple of adjustments to which posts show up on someone’s wall, many feel that they aren’t getting the full exposure that their friends want. But this study disproves this belief and shows that adjustments made to the feeds have kept visibility strong for your posts and other postings on the popular social network.
