The online world of link building can be more than work - it can be fun too. Unfortunately not all web masters are brilliant programmers otherwise every time they ran into a problem they would be able to "program their-selves out of it." There are a lot of great programs out there however for a lot of different Internet marketing methods. Buzzstream is one of them. I usually won't write an article talking too much about one specific program, but this is different. Buzzstream is... SWEET.
I am in no way affiliated with buzzstream, I don't even have an account anymore, I just feel like it's time every webmaster out there took advantage of its uses, because it is brilliant software and can be used for so much in the online world.
What is Buzzstream?
Buzzstream keeps track of every aspect of your online relationships with other web sites and is able to organize them in tons of different ways. It's all about the relationship you have with another web site link wise. When you are doing a link building campaign, it allows you to keep track of the web sites you are in contact with. It shows what type of web site they are, how you obtained the link, what kind of link it is, what the relationship stage of the process is, page rank, contact information.... everything. Buzzstream makes link building so fun and easy you will wonder how you ever did it with out it in the first place.
The best part about Buzzstream is how you can manipulate it, and turn it in to what you want it to be. For example it's great for keeping track of relationship status's and all.. Yes that is amazing, but when I was getting into it, I thought of a way much cooler use for it.
Buzzstream has this awesome feature where you can tag each web site with keywords. You can tag them with up to (I think) 5 keywords. Since Buzzstream allows you to create specific projects and then filter by project, it makes sense, if you are able to pull it off, to do all your web site research first, store it in a project called "Database" and then copy to whatever project you would contact that web site for later.
Okay, so What's the Point of This?
SEO companies can use this secret for one simple reason: Scaling up link building and SEO services to a level they never thought of before. What you are essentially doing by creating this database of keyword tagged web sites is building a "Guest Posting Search Engine." There is a never ending list of clients out there that will offer big bucks for this service. And when you get paid big bucks to do something, you can afford to pay out for the resources you need to get the job done.
Whenever you can create a unique service in the SEO, and you are the first to do it, you have just bought yourself a golden ticket. Like I said most of us are not brilliant programmers and are unaware of all of the things you can automate out there. My advice to you is to start researching what some really good Internet tools are and seeing what you can do with them and how you can turn them into to something cooler and useful for your business.
